No. Audio is processed in real-time for translation and immediately discarded. No audio files or transcripts are ever saved. Only your country (derived from your number) is logged for usage analytics — not your full number, not your conversation.
Yes. Both people need to open NED-LiveTranslator at the same time — the connection is live peer-to-peer. If either person closes the page, the session ends.
Strongly recommended. Without headphones, the translated audio from your speakers can be picked up by your microphone, causing echo. Earbuds or headphones solve this completely.
Yes. Your number is used only as an identifier to connect you with the other person. It's not linked to your WhatsApp account and no messages are sent through WhatsApp.
